Dmitry Nepomnjashiy and Olga Popugaeva are partners in illustration, producing contemporary graphics for children's books and cartoons of social commentary.
They have designed about a hundred children's books in highly recognizable style, using a non-traditional approach to classic subjects, full of lively humor.
Their illustrations are not always easy to tell apart - except when you compare the cartoons of Nepomnjashiy (usually in itialed with DN) with the elaborate illustrations of Popugaeva - the latter having a special genius.
We've deliberately tried to achieve a contrast in these examples.
