Viennese Museum of Modern Art Playhouse.

The house on the roof of the Vienna Museum of Modern Art is a project of modernist sculptor Erwin Wurm. It is intended to look as if it just fell out of the sky. In fact, it took two very large cranes to get the house in place and secure it properly.

Wurm says his work of art is a statement against over-development: “There are hundreds of thousands of houses and they are spreading like a plague, like a cancer across our land.”

We doubt that he has much of a following among the homeless.
