A Royal Academician for over twenty years, Donald Hamilton Fraser continues to capture the colours of our times.
He studied at St Martin’s School of Art, London from 1949 to 1952, and gained a French Government Scholarship to Paris in 1953 where he lived and worked for two years from 1953 to 1954. In 1957 he became Visiting Tutor at the Royal College of Art, London where he remained until 1983. He was elected ARA in 1975 and RA in 1985.
Today, his pictures can be found on everything from stationery to wrist watches: a timely tribute to a genuine master.
