This giant bronze by Italian sculptor Rabarama was displayed throughout October in the 5th arrondissement on the occasion of La Fiac, the international modern art fair that takes place annually in Paris.
It was exhibited on Place du Pantheon - which was an interesting choice of location, since the site echoed the classical sculptural stradition.
Rabarama (so his bio says) 'uses small and malformed grids, slots, grotesque characters and satiric metaphors to express modern life and how quickly our world is being digitalized and globalized'.
The sculpture below, "Reclining Figure", which was exhibited a couple of years ago in Florida, initiated the theme.
