Canada's NFB is preparing for the Genie Awards on 4th April with a playlist highlighting the NFB Genie-nominated films, including Drux Flux, Sleeping Betty, Up the Yangtze and Heaven on Earth.

Also playing this week on NFB.ca are:

Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows, a year in the life of pro-wrestler Bret Hart;

Walking, Ryan Larkin's study of the human form walking;

The Best Damn Fiddler from Calabogie to Kaladar, one man's life-changing decision to become an itinerant bush-worker;

- and a new Bill Mason playlist – a selection of films by canoeist, conservationist and nature-lover Bill Mason.

Next week, the CFB is adding three new films to the site:

Scared Sacred (2004) – a tour of the Ground Zeroes of the world in search of stories of hope and meaning.

Arkelope (1995) – an animated look at endangered species and human passivity.

Headline Hunters (1945) – an account of broadcasters and journalists who relayed war news back to Canada.
