Head for Calgary's Glenbow Gallery!

Ron Mueck's gigantic Head of a Baby (2003) - a stunning close-up of a newborn infant's head - is one of the unforgettable sculptures on view until 24th January at Calgary's Glenbow Museum.

The exhbition entitled Real Life: Ron Mueck and Guy Ben-Neris organized by the National Gallery of Canada and unites two internationally acclaimed artists, Australia's Ron Mueck and Israel's Guy Ben-Ner.

Mueck’s extremely popular sculptures are uncannily lifelike but overwhelming in scale. His art is about the human condition, a theme also found in Ben-Ner's often humorous videos and installations.

You'll find complete information on the Glenbow's site, listed at right.
