Full of Beans: the Jelly Bean Art of Peter and Roger Rocha

The self-proclaimed King of Jelly Bean Art, Peter Rocha and his nephew Roger share a special talent - that of creating mosaics from jelly beans.

Using thousands of colored jelly-beans - around ten thousand of the little sweets for each picture - they have produced over seventy-five of these mosaics on commission from the Jelly Belly Candy Company.

Recently, Roger Rocha exhibited this portrait of Queen Elizabeth II at the time of her 1952 coronation. The four-feet-high artwork is presently displayed at Fizziwig’s Sweet Emporium in Brighton, UK.
