For more than 75 years, the Calgary Zoo, Botanical Garden and Prehistoric Park has offered visitors from around the world a matchless opportunity to experience and interact with wildlife.
Located in the heart of the city only five minutes from downtown. Western Canada's largest accredited zoo boasts over one thousand animals, six acres of botanical gardens, and now, an amazing prehistoric park that must be seen to be believed.
Levitated Apples recently toured the park with its menagerie of animatronic animals and captured just a few of the sights you'll find in this astonishinglv realistic setting.

I remember visiting here when I was a kid living in Ontario. When I was 11 or 12, we took the proverbial trip 'out west'. The stop in Calgary to see the dinosaurs was a highlight. The vivid memories of the child-I-was clash with the experience of visiting the zoo today but mesh very well with my 11 year old daughter's exclamations.
