John Held Jr. 1889 ~ 1958 was an artist and cartoonist whose work defined The Roaring Twenties.
He produced marvellous stylized cartoons for publications like
Judge, Life
and the fledgling
New Yorker
(click headline) - but some of us like to remember him for his paintings of New York.
