24 September, 2010 - 2 January, 2011: The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum hosts the Annual Traditional Cowboy Arts Association Exhibition.

Always worth seeing, the exhibit showcases the skills of TCAA members, who work to preserve and promote the skills of saddlemaking, bit and spur making, silversmithing and rawhide braiding and to emphasize the role of these traditional crafts in cowboy culture.

The show is an annual tribute to the continuing vitality of Western craftsmanship.

This year marks the Twelfth Anniversary of the organization, opening with the TCAA Exhibition and Sale and a Public Reception on Friday evening, 24th September.

And because of the great appeal to holiday visitors, the Exhibition this year will be extended to 2nd January, 2011.

This unique exhibit of Western craftsmanship includes a number of special presentations and seminars.

On Saturday, 25th September, these include a Video by filmmaker Adam Jaheil, who accompanied Pedro Pedrini and Cary Schwarz on their trip to France; a Talk by James Nottage, Vice President of the Eiteljorg Museum, Indianapolis, Indiana, on “Western Saddles, The Why and What of Collecting;” and a Panel Discussion on the topic of fine craftsmanship moderated by Cary Schwarz with artisans Scott Hardy, Chuck Stormes, Ernie Marsh and Nate Wald.
