Twelve apostles for women in art.

Susan Jephcott is just one of the artists featured in a twelve-woman art exhibition coming up near the end of April near Ottawa.

For one day only, on Sunday 19th April, "STANDING" will show the distinctive work of a dozen Ontario painters, reminding us that women in art are far from any old-style, female stereotype but are instead highly individual artists demonstrating a surprising range of styles.

You'll find the show at the Three Owls Studio & Gallery, on Main Street, in the delightful village of Vankleek Hill.

It's the perfect excuse for a day's outing from anywhere in the Ottawa region with some pleasant stops nearby for coffee or lunch.
