Reza Dolatabadi created over six thousand paintings to make "Khoda", his five-minute graduation film from the University of Dundee. (2008)
Dolatabadi enlisted the help of Adam Thomson for the 3D work and used an electronic soundtrack from Hamed Mafakheri.
The film is a psychological thriller about a prison escape. While the significance of the movie may be difficult to comprehend (at least for we at "Levitated Apples") it must certainly be admired for the complexity of its production.
Born in Tehran in 1985, Reza studied at Soureh School of Art in the same city, before gravitating to Edinburgh College of Art to get a BA in Illustration. He moved into animation at the University of Dundee, "Khoda" being his graduation piece in 2008.
Mark Szalos Farkas was co-writer on the film.
