The house as a fashion statement.

Norwegian artist Jens Werner Andersen has painted his house in this colourful Burberry-pattern - which, judging from international reactions, viewers either love or hate.

Levitated Apples is firmly in the first body of opinion.

Anderen says he woke up one day and thought it was a worthwhile idea. His main vision for the house, when he bought it six years ago in Larvik, Norway, was that it should be a gathering place for happy people, of a peace-on-earth-mentality, and lovers of art.

Britain's Daily Telegraph reacted by calling it a 'house of horror', wondering if any of his neighbours were happy about the whole thing.
