Giant Beatles statues by David Adickes in Houston, Texas.

Long a part of Houston's musical landscape, the Fab Four became a part of the city's physical landscape in 2007, when local artist David Adickes created this thirty-six-feet-tall grouping at Sculpturworx on Summer Street near Sawyer in west Houston.

Each of the figures weighs an estimated seven thousand pounds, adding up to a total weight for the group in the region of twenty-five to thirty thousand pounds.

The Beatles, it seems, are now true musical heavyweights in the state's largest city.
